چکیده
Considering the importance of uniaxial compressive strength determination, especially in engineering projects and oil industry, the use of a suitable and cost-effective method for estimating is looked necessary. In this study, based on the effect of dry and saturated sandstone samples, a suitable matrices joint model was developed for compressive, shear and uniaxial compressive strength and its accuracy was investigated. The criterion for evaluating the performance of the suggested model is greatest R2 and adjusted R2 values considered which respectively calculated as 89.63 and 87.35. The proposed model can estimate the dry and saturated uniaxial compressive strength values with good precision in sandstones.
