Mud volconism are major morphological complications, the main cause of which is the gases
that traps in structures, and they move upwards due to the accumulation of gases. Mud
volconism usually occur in areas where its sequences are usually young in period of geologic
age. Mud volconism are usually associated with gas reservoir. Therefore, the identification of
the structural of mud volconism on a seismic section is necessary to identify the structural of the
reservoir. In this paper, it is assumed that on one of the seismic lines of Gorgan plain there are
signs of the uplift of the mud in the form of a diaper. We analyzed cross sections using a some
seismic attribute. Which is finally evaluated by seismic attribute, Envelope, Instantaneous
phase, Instantaneous frequency and Remove bias, there is a possibility of the presence of mud
volconism in the study area in relation to petroleum structures.
