Abstract
There are many destructive earthquakes around the world every day. Given that destructive earthquakes in active earthquake zones result in high human, financial and scientific casualties and the inability to predict magnitudes and focal mechanisms of earthquakes, there is intensive research into early warning systems and Their development is very important. Accurate estimation of the magnitudes and focal mechanism of earthquakes at the early moments of the p-wave and before the severe earth movement causes destruction is considered a major challenge for early earthquake warning systems. Such applied systems are an acceptable means of reducing earthquake losses. In this study, based on the properties of wavelet transform frequency, it has been used as a tool for studying the properties of magnets and focal mechanisms. In this study, we have investigated the relationship between the p-wave radiation pattern and the relation of the largest wavelet coefficient to the wavelet transform using wavelet transform. The results show that the magnitude and the radiation pattern can be easily extracted from the p-wave wavelet transform.
