Abstract
Geophysical studies at high latitudes on the surface of the Earth are very important because they offer the opportunity to improve our knowledge about plasma processes in the Earth’s magnetosphere, Performance of the solar wind and Currents generated in the ionosphere.
polar regions are also entering and leaving the Earth's dipole field and local for field interacts with the magnetic field in the solar wind plasma is frozen. Choose six magnetic observatories in the Earth's polar(three in the Northern and three in the Southern hemisphere) We investigate the effect of the vertical component of the interplanetary magnetic field on the Earth's field components, which have a 24-hour period, on the quiet days of the magnetic year and in the polar regions . Data are for 2007. The quiet geomagnetism days selected according Kp index. The results indicate that the 24-h variation is quite persistent, but its amplitude strongly depends on season and global geomagnetic activity.
