The study area is located in Uromih-Dokhtar and the northern part of 1:100000 sarduiyeh geological sheet.consist Oligo-Miocine intrusive igneous and Eocene volcanic rocks.Several ore indications and mineralization such as sarmeshk, daralu and bondar hanza are located in this area.we aimed to identify the probable mineralization zones related porphyry copper mineralization alteration holoes in area.In this research,by using the satellite image processing of ASTER sensor and the direct data from the surduiyeh geological map, prepare images based on phyllic and argillic alteration maps from the region could provide evidene for an existence of a porphyry copper mineralization. Band ratioing was applied to discriminate the altered areas from the non-altered.ore index cross matching called daralu based recognition presumed area, demonstrates the selective band ratioing method accuracy and its efficiency by using the satellite ASTER data from the altered area
