Abstract
In this study, an attempt has been made to study the old buried aqueduct located at the construction site of a hospital in Hamedan city by means of two-dimensional tomography. In the study area, which is about 4 meters lower than the ground level by excavation, the opening of an old aqueduct has been identified, and in this investigation, an attempt has been made to determine the extension, depth and possible route of the existing aqueduct. In the geophysical study (with electrical resistivity tomography method) to check the existing aqueduct, the number of reading data is about 1000 readings, almost the same number of readings have been done on all three profiles. In the desired area, profiles were made on 3 perpendicular paths by Wenner-Schlumberger arrangement. Modeling has been done by Res2dinv software, which was completely consistent with the results of drilled boreholes.
