Abstract
Nowadays, accurate estimation of various parameters of hydrocarbon reservoirs has become more and more important due to the growing importance of this industry, and it is necessary to conduct detailed studies to determine these parameters. The initial modeling that is made for the fields eventually leads to the seismic data inversion, which is critical for determining various parameters. In other words, it is not possible to estimate different parameters in hydrocarbon reservoirs without seismic inversion. Various methods are used to seismic data inversion, the most important of these are the model-based method, sparse spike, and band-limited method. The present study was performed on one of the offshore fields in southwestern of Iran. In this study, the model-based method has the highest conformity of about 98% and high resolution, is the most appropriate method, and then sparse spike methods and band-limited respectively with 97% and 89% compliance, have been reported.
